St Leonard's Church
Abbey Farm has the honour of a unique 13th century Church sited on the farm and within walking distance of the Oak Barn.
The beautiful Church of St Leonard's, built in 1212 and listed in Simon Jenkins "Best 1000 Churches". We are trying to discover how many marriages have taken place in this Church since 13th Century, but assume many!
The Church seats between 60 – 90 guests! Reached across the Abbey field by car or on foot through beautiful grass meadows or through a lovely 5 mintue woodland walk – a great photo opportunity or a little moment together to enjoy in your first hour as a married couple.
Betsy our Series 1 vintage Land Rover is also on hand to collect the happy couple from St Leonards and available for photos back at the barn. She even arrives with a bottle of chilled bubbles in a basket! For information on getting married at the Church or for a wedding blessing please contact us.
