The Venue
A unique countryside wedding venue you will fall in love with! Romantic indoor or outdoor ceremonies or an on-site Church service. Relax in the extensive lawned gardens, sipping champagne whilst playing croquet, before dining in the beautiful Barns or even outside in The Orchard. As the night draws in, snuggle up under a blanket next to our outdoor fire pit or indoor log burner. You will be part of an exclusive Club with only around 20 weddings here each year.
On arrival our outdoor courtyard reception area, with a beautiful Oak framed porch, is the ideal spot for a stunning flower display and perfect for guests to capture that all important wedding photo.
You can then mingle in the sunshine with drinks in the gardens or warm up in the bar or next to the log burner in the Winter months – all with magnificent views of Kirkstead Abbey Ruin.
With twinkling fairy lights, The Oak Barn is at the heart of every wedding at Abbey Farm Wedding with 300 year old craftsmanship bought into the modern day, the oak adds an amazingly romantic and heart warming rustic atmosphere to the barn.
Character and charm sum up the interiors of all of our inter-linked barns. With candles on the tables, our twinkling fairy lights, paired with your own personalised touches, a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere is created for your wedding guests. With up to 250 evening guests – you will have a great party too! If you are thinking about more guests, do let us know as we can discuss options with you!
A wedding at Abbey Farm is what you want to make it! We work with you to make your bespoke wedding day come to life and actually happen! From your ceremony to the evening band, you can handpick suppliers to make your day totally unique. Take advantage of our own extensive list of favourite suppliers that we can personally recommend and share with you. Our countryside venue is yours for the day and is one of a select few "exclusive use" venues in the Country. The Abbey Ruin will be floodlit in honour of your wedding day, making for some stunning sunset shots!
For those that love the outdoors we have perfect ceremony, drinks and al fresco dining options. Enjoy a unique outdoor ceremony or wedding breakfast with views over the gardens, pond and Abbey.

The Oak Barn
Our Oak Barn is built in the traditional Lincolnshire style which offers a truly amazing building which will seat 90 guests.
The Old Granary
This stunning space can be incorporated into your day however you wish. Hold your ceremony under the elegant mezzanine lights to create the most romantic setting.
St Leonard's Church
This 13th Century Church offers intimate and magical charm for your wedding ceremony or blessing. Located just across the meadows, walk across a grassy field or a magical woodland walk or take a ride back to the barn for your reception.
The Bar
With our team of friendly and welcoming bar staff, you can be sure your guest will be well looked after.
The Gardens
The gardens are south facing and perfect for sipping champagne and eating canapés, or for a truly spectacular feast use our unique outdoor dining space for your wedding breakfast.

Visiting Abbey Farm Weddings is by appointment only. We do this so that we can guarantee exclusivity to each of our lovely couples. When you arrive we will give you a guided tour of the venue, answer any questions you may have and offer unique insights into getting the best from the venue for your style of wedding.
Towards the end of the tour we’ll step back to allow you some quiet time so you can soak up the atmosphere.
