Things to do

Abbey Farm is very close to Woodhall Spa and there are lots of things to do within the immediate area. We are very proud of our aviation heritage and The Dambusters memorial is sited in Royal Square within the village. The Petwood Hotel was the home of the Officers' Mess for the Dambusters and the 617 Squandron have recently erected a new memorial for those killed since the 2nd World War.

RAF Coningsby is also on our doorstep and through the summer months the Spitfire, Dakota and Lancaster are often seen flying over Abbey Farm. Jubilee Park not only offers one of the country's only lidos (outdoor swimming pool) which can be enjoyed through the summer months, but also tennis, cricket and games areas.

Renowned for being the home of England Golf, the National Golf Centre in the village features both the Hotchkin and Bracken Course and a driving range. Woodhall Spa Golf Club

A trip to the Kinema in the Woods which is also in the village is a must if you have the time to spare.

For further details of local activities please see the Woodhall Spa website.

Other useful advice

If you are walking from Abbey Farm to the Church or to one of our outdoor ceremony locations we suggest you bring some shoes suitable for walking on grass and uneven pathways.

Plesae don't bring your own confetti with you as only our own confetti is allowed here (available from us) to stop any dye transfer onto the stone floors and light coloured walls!

Please don't forget to book your taxi in advance of the evening. There is no Uber in Woodhall Spa!

And if you need to know anything else please just give us a call, send us a message or an email.
